A family medicine practitioner cares for every member of a patient’s family, from young children through older adults. Tulare’s leading family physician, Yadwinder Kang, MD is known for his expertise and caring bedside manner. Dr. Kang serves patients at Dealno, Tulare & Bakersfield Urgent Care.
Dr. Kang excelled throughout his medical degree program at the University of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Center in Hungary. He came to the United States to complete his required residency training at the North Central Texas Medical Foundation, where he specialized in family medicine. Dr. Kang is currently board-certified in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine.
With years of experience in the Tulare community, Dr. Kang has made deep and lasting connections with the town’s population. As a family practitioner, Dr. Kang focuses on caring for each patient as a whole and getting to the root of a condition or ailment, rather than treating a specific symptom alone. He regularly performs routine health exams, as well as school or sports physicals. When necessary, Dr. Kang treats urgent care issues, such as common colds, flus, lacerations, pneumonia, and back pain.
Though Dr. Kang enjoys getting to know each patient and building long-lasting relationships with every family member, he also gladly sees patients for walk-in sick or urgent care visits. His caring team welcomes new patients.
